Leisure Activities Cycling

As well as a great place to come for food and drink this area provides a great area for cycling.

Located close to both the Weavers Way and the Bure Valley,  Cycle Routes are plentiful. Many cycling groups call in for a pint and lunch when cycling the quiet country lanes around Banningham. We are accredited as a Cycling Friendly place and have repair kits, specialist pumps and other facilities available.

Leisure Activities Walking

This area provides a great hub for walking. Circular walks through the villages of Banningham and Colby give the opportunity to see nature on the doorstep. Recent sightings include Yellowhammers, Buzzards and Tawny Owls. What can you spot today?

Located close to both the Weavers Way and the Bure Valley walks are plentiful. Our staff have details of several walks ranging from 5 to 8 miles within the Banningham and Colby areas. Why not leave your car in the car park and return for Lunch? 

Visit North Norfolk

Situated on the east coast of England, North Norfolk has 45 miles of stunning coastline, Blue Flag beaches, big skies and breath-taking countryside. Their website lists many walks and cycle routes nearby under their See and Do section including the Bure Valley Railway and Path and the Weavers Way Path and cycle route.

Norfolk Coast Path and National Trails

A walk along The Norfolk Coast Path National Trail is the perfect way to lose yourself in this magical land of sand dunes and salt marsh, sea air and warm welcomes. Their website links to numerous walks in the surrounding area.

Spring Meadow - Caravan and Motorhome Club

Spring Meadow is a Caravan Club listed adult only caravan site, so you must be a Caravan Club member to use the site. The site is a 0.5 acre with five woodchip pitches. The site can be used by caravans, motor homes, trailer tents and folding campers. There is fresh water on site as well as an electric point for each pitch. There is a waste disposal point and also a lovely wet room for guests who do not want to use their on board shower. 

The site is a 1/2 mile walk along country lanes to The Banningham Crown.
